Random Fandom 9/3
Well I’m back and after some positive feedback from my first Random Fandom, I decided to keep it up and add to it. So as like last time, I asked a fan to tell me about his favorite team and this week we will be talking about Ga. Tech football. So without wasting anymore time, lets have Byron tell us about the team.
The Fan: Byron Furtick
How did you become a Fan? “Honestly I did not become a fan until I got to Georgia Tech. Just like high school it was more of a social outing than sporting even for me but you start going to the games each week and you want to see your team win, So after 5 years of school there…YEAH GO JACKETS!”
What are you anticipating from the team and what player are you looking forward to seeing? “I expect them to do well vs other big name ACC schools. Go 6-2 in the ACC”
Concerns with the team? “The biggest concern is that the triple option is that it does generate a lot of points vs really solid defenses. Typically it struggles vs non-ACC teams and by that I mean can we beat Georgia this year.”
What is something all Yellow jackets fans need to know? “Our colors are White and Gold…there is no navy, no yellow, no black. Oh yes and Fight Win Drink Get Naked!”
Prediction for the season?
“Virginia Tech (Win)
Virginia Tech is hopeful. And I say Maryland because there is no way we don’t drop an easy game in there somewhere. If we can go 8-4 I’d be pretty happy. Would not shock me if we went 7-5 but hopefully that’s where the bleeding stops.”

it is interesting hearing from an unbiased tech student…that being said …good predictions I think they can pull a 9-3 season…., btw I would like an interview for ga state football…(that’s a joke)
lol maybe one day I’ll find that fan that follows gsu football and can tell me their rich history
